We shared the family size chicken and rice plate and got some karak chai and spicy potatoes as well. Everything was delicious. Meat falls off the bone. There is a variety of textures and flavors. You won't be sorry that you did so. Everything on our platter, which served 8, was so delicious. Everyone was scoopin their way towards multiple plates. I'm talking 3rds, some even 4ths (guilty). The food was so bomb. Make a reservation, sit on the floor, and come with a big party. You'll be treated to excellent food, excellent service, and a fun, traditional, Arabic experience. ”

“ My first time trying Yemenese food, and I absolutely loved it! The setting was very cozy, we sat on a floor type seating that was very comfortable and unique. We ordered a chicken dish and the Arabic coffee and everything was great! The portion sizes were massive, and it tasted very fresh! I would recommend this place 10/10 ”
“ House of Mandi in Westwood is a nice, decorative restaurant with Yemen's seating styles. One thing I have to note is when we asked for water, they brought out bottled water and charged us ~$2 for each. Overall the service is adequate but can be slow at some points. They make it up with a bell at each table to ring the staff over. The food is beyond compliments. -The eggplant dip is my favorite. The dip is fresh, spongy, and airy to taste. It comes with a 15 in or so side of bread to dip. Better yet, the dish costs only $9. 5/5 the grilled lamb with rice for $35 was huge as well. -Overall all dishes here are big. It took me 4 meals to finish the dish after I bring it home. Although the lamb is dry at places. The flavored rice is al dente, moist but not too wet that would clump together. 4/5 -Fish mova comes with a full size of rice like other dishes and a whole fish wrapped in tin foil. The fish is more moist and spicy due to some jalapeños. 4/5 Overall I would come back to try other dishes because there are so many options that it is so hard to choose. ”
